Homemade Peach Cobbler
Easiest recipe, used in our family forever:

Ingredients:

1 stick butter – use real butter

1cup flour self rising

1 cup sugar

1 cup milk

1 large can peaches in heavy syrup

Set oven to 325-350 degrees

Directions:

Melt butter in the bottom of the dish. I used a 9×9 dish.

In a bowl mix together the flour, sugar, and milk. Blend well. No lumps.

Pour batter over butter. DON’T STIR IT IN.

Spoon peaches over mixture around pan, pour peach juice over the cap.

Bake on a cookie sheet in case it boils up for 1 hour.

It will be juicy but leave it to sit for 5 minutes or so and it all comes together.

I prefer to eat it warm with some vanilla ice cream on the side.
