- Time Trick: To save time, I made this recipe with instant white rice. For this recipe, you can use any rice you like as long as you prepare it first.
- Step-2: Mix cooked rice, cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese together in a large mixing bowl.
Place everything in a casserole dish once it’s all mixed together.
Step 3: Finally, Cover the remaining ½ cups of cheese over the casserole.
How To Bake chicken with rice casserole ?
Bake for 15-20 minutes once your casserole is ready. After that, take it out of the oven, and now you have a baked chicken and rice casserole ready to serve.
Optional garnish: I topped mine with fresh diced parsley.
